I can now offer two one-hour presentations, my popular "Tracking the Brontes" (approaching 50 performances) and the new "What D'You Mean, Yorkshire?" featuring some of my songs and poems.  Either of these for 50 quid plus a bit for travel.  Make some cash for your organisation........

MAJOR work 2024 - publication by Ings Poetry of my "Lifelines" collection, launched Nov 24 at at Gallery 6 in Scarborough

I get back to West Yorkshire on occasion. As I did in Shipley

in support of the aims of Friends of Bradford's Becks with what has become my signature tune.  And FoBB now have a YouTube Channel

and a new film takes you along this waterway.

I have appeared...... on BBC Look North, BBC Radio Leeds, Bradford Community Broadcasting. More recently on two of the three radio stations in Scarborough, on BBC Radio York and on Tempo FM from Wetherby

I've trodden the boards with Paper Zoo Theatre, and with Bradford's Shakespeare group ACT, for whom I've also written incidental music. Hoping to see my musical works (Saltairy Tales, Bells) back in business some time, likewise plays about German author Wolfgang Borchert and Yorkshire "star" Blind Jack Metcalf.

More songs are always on the way, varied in style and content, some inspired by my new location, I will put them on this site under Songs.  And they're going up on my YouTube channel.

Have lost count of the poems I've composed in recent years and some of them are organised into a coherent sequence called "Lifelines" with a selection on the "Poetry" page.

I helped organise a series of live performances with the title "Homegrown at Seagrown"  on board the Southern Star in Scarborough harbour.  .
