Feb 2025 over 100 in Cottingham attended the first performance of this presentation with music and poems: "What D'You Mean, Yorkshire?" This was well received at "Big Ideas By The Sea" in Scarborough in May 25. It's been to Sherburn-in-Elmet and is on its way soon to Hull, to South Cave and then coming home to Scarborough on 1 August '26 to celebrate Yorkshire Day

I sang some of my songs in June at Scalby Fair Day and then in August at the new "Thriddingsfest". I return to Scalby Folk Festival in September, and to Scarborough's Mojo's Music Cafe on 9 January 2027 for my fourth visit there.

My music has twice been used for sound effects in Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream at Bradford Cathedral .

Sang my "Scarborough Jazz" and some Fats Waller at the Cask in Scarborough at the Jazz Club's Jam Night. Will be there again 16 April '25 with a live contribution
For an hour I was "Ringing Bells for Brontës" at the piano at Leeds Playhouse, as part of their 1001 Stories project. Film of this event now on Brontës page.

That's me on the left on board the "Southern Star" in Scarborough Harbour for a folk session with friends. They no longer do music aboard the ship, which is now dedicated fully to a super marine project called Seagrown, which is worth knowing about - here's my song about it.

TRACKING THE BRONTES has by now completed 50 performances, starting out in West Yorkshire and now in the East Riding and North Yorkshire, including Scarborough's Woodend, Whitby Fine Arts Society Ryedale U3A, Hull and Kirby Misperton U3A, was also seen by a packed Memorial Hall at Beverley, and went to Guisborough U3A, to Friends of Scarborough Library and to E Yorks Family History Society. It's been to Cottingham Methodist Friendship Group, to St Martin's Scarborough, and thence to South Cave U3A, to Swanland and to the Probus Club in Pickering. Driffield too. Have appeared at SCALBY FOLK WEEKEND at the Nag's Head singing some of my originals, and at SCALBY FAIR .

"Salts Waters" popped up again at Bradford Rowing Club (this is an excellent guide to a walk from and back to Saltaire), and I brought a new presentation "Saltaire and Scarborough" to St Andrews Church Fellowship Scarborough. That also has been to Osgodby Community Centre, and its next outing was for Scarborough Civic Society in November 2025 at Woodend, Scarborough

"Two Tykes on t'Loose" has been on t'loose at St Peter's Church Hall Shipley, at Dewsbury U3A and at Shaggy Dog Storytellers, Stubbing Wharf, Hebden Bridge, and a version of this appeared at Scarborough Library not long ago.
